There’s a great deal of information in the news and specifically the American Society of Reproductive Medicine’s Fertility & Sterility Journal about acupuncture improving assisted reproductive therapies, resulting in a trend towards higher pregnancy and birth rates.

The Scoop on Water

There’s a good bit of controversy over water intake and dehydration. For a while there was an email going around claiming pretty impressive powers of water. It appears to have some research to support it, though I haven’t been able to nail down the original article.

Five Element Acupuncture, the main style I practice, is based on the seasons of the year. Each season has different associations: organs in the body, personal qualities and skills, colors, smells, tastes, from micro (the hair on your head) to macro (how an idea moves from a seed in the mind to action to feedback for the next idea). It’s a beautiful and inclusive paradigm through which you can promote health in your body, relationships, garden, anything!
