Welcome!

Five Element Acupuncture, the main style I practice, is based on the seasons of the year. Each season has different associations: organs in the body, personal qualities and skills, colors, smells, tastes, from micro (the hair on your head) to macro (how an idea moves from a seed in the mind to action to feedback for the next idea). It’s a beautiful and inclusive paradigm through which you can promote health in your body, relationships, garden, anything!

Obviously, I’m a believer. I’ve been receiving acupuncture since childhood, earned a Master degree in it, and plan to continue treating into my 70s and 80s. I love the work. I love seeing people feel better in themselves. It’s such a rich gift to be with people in all their greatness, anger, fear, joy, suffering, and hope.

The beautiful thing is that we’re such unique creatures that acupuncture, or physical therapy, or Prozac is not going to be the best treatment for everyone. See what resonates with your experience and in your body.
